Overall Rating 5 / 5 🔵 A focused, science-backed single-product funnel with no material gaps

AG1 has spent 15 years refining a single product rather than expanding a catalogue, and the website reflects that same discipline, every section on the homepage, from the moving ingredient strip to the product comparison table, exists to answer one question, why this one scoop, rather than to sell a shopper on choosing between products.

Suplex Design analysed drinkag1.com across brand identity, homepage science storytelling, subscription value framing, PDP depth and review architecture, and what follows is why this is one of the strongest single-product funnels Suplex has audited. This audit reflects the site as it stood in August 2026.

What AG1's Website Gets Exceptionally Right ✅

1. Single-Product Clarity Carried Through Every Section 🥤

A moving strip across the top of the homepage introduces AG1 Next Gen and names its actual mechanisms, metabolic health support, a GLP-1 companion formulation, and 5 grams of creatine monohydrate for muscle strength and recovery, before a visitor has scrolled at all.

Every subsequent section, the static and video banners, the product cards, the comparison tables, all point at the same one or two products, AG1 Next Gen and AG1 Pro, so a shopper is never asked to navigate a wider catalogue or resolve choice paralysis before deciding.

2. The Homepage Leads With Certification, Not Just Claims 🔬

A dedicated section states the product is NSF Certified for Sport, backed by industry-leading research and trusted by leading scientists and athletes, with a direct link through to learn more about what that certification actually tests for, rather than leaving it as an unexplained badge.

A Doctor Recommended Brand sticker and a named endorsement from Dr. Andrew Huberman sit alongside the certification messaging on the homepage banners, giving the trust claim both an institutional anchor, NSF, and a named, checkable individual behind it.

3. A Live Comparison Table Does the Product-Selection Work for the Shopper 📊

The homepage runs an actual comparison table between AG1 Next Gen and AG1 Pro, format, ingredients, serving size, multivitamin and mineral content, antioxidants, the probiotic blend, zinc carnosine, and price per month and per serving, laid out side by side rather than described in separate paragraphs.

A second comparison, headed The Smarter Way to Invest in Your Health, sets AG1's monthly cost against the combined cost of buying a multivitamin, a stress adaptogen, immune support, cognitive support and muscle support separately, which reframes the price from a standalone number into a bundled-value argument a shopper can verify against their own supplement cabinet.

4. The PDP Backs Every Claim With a Named Study or a Named Lab 🧪

The AG1 Next Gen product page states the formula was tested by Eurofins in March 2026 across 53 substances for quality, with a link through to the full report, rather than a generic third-party-tested badge with nothing behind it.

Clinical results are cited with specific figures, a 70 percent and 73 percent clinically shown increase in healthy gut bacteria among them, alongside a full nutrition table covering calories, carbohydrates, fibre and protein per scoop, and a comparison module showing exactly how AG1 combines what would otherwise be a multivitamin, a probiotic and a greens supplement into one formulation.

Rishabh noted the sheer density of A+ creative here, tables, tick-mark comparisons, study results, is genuinely thorough rather than decorative, each module explains a specific claim rather than repeating the same message in different visual formats.

5. The Subscription Offer Is Explicit About What a Shopper Is Actually Getting 🎁

The product page lets a shopper choose between monthly delivery at 20% off or a three-month delivery at 30% off, states plainly what the subscription includes, free shipping, a 90-day money-back guarantee, and the ability to pause or cancel at any time, and offers a free member gift as a first-subscription incentive.

A cross-sell prompt for AG1 Pro sits on the Next Gen page specifically for a shopper who may have landed on the wrong product for their goal, muscle and gut support versus daily foundational support, which reduces the risk of a mismatched first purchase rather than simply upselling regardless of fit.

6. A Dedicated Reviews Hub Holds Real Depth at Scale ⭐

A separate AG1 Reviews and Success Stories page holds more than 60,000 verified five-star reviews, split between video and written testimonials, and filterable by health goal, gut health, healthy ageing, immune defence, and by flavour, tropical, citrus or original.

Being able to filter down to reviews from people pursuing the same specific goal as the shopper reading them is a materially more useful trust mechanism than a flat, unfiltered review wall, and the video-review option adds a layer of authenticity a written review alone cannot match.

What Suplex Would Build Next 💡

There are no material gaps to flag at this audit pass, the funnel is complete, well-proven and consistent from the homepage through to checkout. The one polish opportunity worth naming is a placement detail rather than a fix.

Priority 1 - Link the 60,000-Plus Reviews Directly From the Product Page 🔗

Rishabh noted the Next Gen product page itself shows only a handful of reviews, while the full 60,000-plus review archive lives on a separate Reviews and Success Stories page with no direct link back from the PDP.

Adding a single, prominent link from the product page straight into the filtered review hub would let a shopper reach that full proof density without leaving the page they are actually deciding on, closing the one small gap between two otherwise excellent pieces of the funnel.

Final Scorecard 🏆

What Works Score What to Fix
✅ Single-product clarity carried across every homepage section 5 / 5 Brand Clarity ❌ N/A
✅ NSF certification and named endorsements anchor the trust story 5 / 5 Science and Trust ❌ N/A
✅ Live comparison tables do the product-selection work for the shopper 5 / 5 Merchandising ❌ N/A
✅ Named lab reports and specific clinical study figures on the PDP 5 / 5 PDP Depth ❌ N/A
✅ Explicit subscription terms and a goal-based cross-sell to AG1 Pro 5 / 5 Subscription Offer ❌ N/A
✅ 60,000-plus filterable reviews with video testimonials 5 / 5 Review Depth ❌ Not linked directly from the product page itself

Suplex Verdict 📝

AG1 has built the single-product funnel other single-SKU brands should study, every section on the site, the homepage, the comparison tables, the certification callouts, the subscription math, exists to answer one question and answers it with a specific, checkable number rather than a vague claim.

The science storytelling in particular sets a genuinely high bar, a named lab, a named test date, specific clinical percentages, and a real comparison table that does a shopper's product-selection thinking for them rather than asking them to compare specs unassisted.

The only gap worth naming is a small one, the review archive's full depth lives one click further away from the product page than it needs to, and closing that gap is the only thing standing between an excellent funnel and a flawless one.

Hi, I’m Rishabh Jain

I believe great design has the power to shape perception, build trust, and move businesses forward. That belief is what led me to found Suplex Design Studio, a global branding and packaging studio working with FMCG and D2C brands across markets.I started suplex at 25 with a clear intent, to create design that is strategic, thoughtful, and commercially meaningful. By 28, the studio had scaled globally, guided by a strong foundation in Integrated Design that I developed during my academic journey in London, where I was honoured with the Dean’s Award.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with 100+ brands, from Fortune 500 organizations to family-run businesses, helping them build packaging and brand systems that create recall, relevance, and long-term value.

Suplex’s work has been recognized internationally, including the Manifest Award (2024), the Clutch Global Award (2025), and features on platforms such as Packaging of the World, The Dieline, and the World Brand Design Society.

None of this would be possible without the people behind the work. I’m deeply grateful to the suplex team, whose commitment, creativity, and attention to detail turn ideas into meaningful brand experiences every day.

At the heart of my work is a simple philosophy, design should be intentional, honest, and built to last, and that continues to guide everything we create at suplex.
